Ascended Masters about the Immortal nature of the soul
Even if all of humanity will follow a confident walk into the abyss, your task is to rely on God within you and act according to Conscience in the most difficult situations. The choice is always the same: either you choose immortality for your soul, or you choose a satisfying and comfortable life for your body. The Path of Initiations is always open for those souls who are devoted to God and the Masters 
The Teaching about the changing of consciousness is the most important Teaching that we pass through our Messenger, along with the Law of Karma and the Law of Reincarnation of the soul. All of these three Laws, if you follow them in your lives every day throughout a considerable period of time, are capable of providing immortality for your soul. 
The understanding of Eternal Life and gradual separation from everything that is not eternal is what should concern you first and foremost. When you aspire to the Light, when you know that you are immortal and have only made a temporary stop on this planet, then you are moving along the Path to God. 
When it gets especially hard for you, when you are in despair, when you don't see a single ray of Light ahead, please remember me, remember this Message, remember the fact that you are an immortal being of Light and that nothing threatens you while you keep Faith, Hope, and Love in your heart! Nothing can harm you. Do not be afraid to lose your body but to save your soul. It's much worse if you prefer to keep your body and all that you gained in the physical world and lose your soul. 
I, Lord Hilarion, remember the minutes when, being in incarnation and leading a solitary life in the backwoods, I had a chance to observe myself as if from outside all day long. <…> I was on Earth in incarnation, and at the same time I understood that I was immortal. I was eternal. I was thrown upon my own resources in that incarnation, and I tried to understand the reason for my being, but at the same time I was much more than my physical body. In fact, my physical body was just like a suit of armor enabling my Higher Self to dwell within me. 
There is always an opportunity to follow the Higher Path, and there is always a chance to come to grief. At the moment when you make a choice in a difficult life situation, always remember that you are much bigger than your physical body. Your nature is Divine and you are immortal. Thus, when making a choice, do always be ruled by the factors valuable for your soul. 
There are two persons inside of you. One is mortal and the other is immortal. These two persons have become so entangled during many million years of their existence on planet Earth that it will require considerable efforts to separate these two from one another. One of them is to stay on Earth and to return into Earth from where he has been taken. The other is to continue existence in another higher plane of reality.
You have probably heard from some other teachings or read in some books that man, from the moment of his creation after the image and likeness of God, had two united parts. His Higher immortal Self has never forgotten about its ties with the Creator, but his lower self has lost its feeling of unity with both his Higher Self and the Creator in the course of many millions of years on the planet.<…> A spark of reason, burning in the temple of each man, is smoldering now in most of the people and is close to dying down or has already gone out. Therefore, this Teaching is being given and these words are being told in order to help the spark flare up. Man-animal must give up his place to the Divine man. The man liable to decay must give way to the imperishable man. 
Beloved, you are in embodiment in order to realize your immortal nature and defeat the illusory forces. Every one of you must win over the illusory manifestation. Elohim Cyclopea, June 20, 2019
