Mother Mary’s Miracles
"Many miracles
happen on Earth,
but if you don't believe in these miracles,
then these miracles don't exist for you."

– Do you believe in miracle?
– In which one?
– Any.
– I do!
In a further conversation, we come to the conclusion that there are two
types of miracles. One miracle happens all of a sudden, which causes
delight and admiration from touching the unknown. And the second is
imperceptible when you suddenly realize that it has already happened (a wish
come true; finding a spiritual Teaching, an amazing person, a unique book) -
and it changed your life dramatically.
Someone will say in the words of the Florentine, the character in Concordia Antarova's
novel "Two Lives", that "there are no miracles, there is only
one or another degree of knowledge." And he
will be right. However, this statement does not change our enthusiastic
attitude towards the miracle.
Experiencing a miracle lifts us into a
high atmosphere of joy through contact
with the Divine world; it instills
instant confidence that EVERYTHING is possible!
A miracle is a manifestation of the Divine reality in our pragmatic and
ordinary earthly world! That's why our soul is so hungry, and asking for a
miracle! And... gets it.
The Hour of Mercy of Mother Mary
The greatest Miracle on Earth - the Hour of Mercy of Mother Mary - takes
place every year on December 8th from 12 noon to 13 pm local time.
On this day and hour, Mother Mary offers an opportunity to all the people of the Earth, regardless of religion, to ask Her for anything. The Blessed Virgin promised that whatever
people ask from Her during the Hour of Mercy will be granted (even if it seems
impossible), as
long as it is in accordance with the Will of the Eternal Father.
This wonderful event first took place in 1947, in one of the cities of northern Italy.
The Mother of God appeared several
times to Sister Grace Pierina Gilly, who served at the local hospital. Mother Mary invited the woman, and through her
other people, to the church on December
8th at noon, saying that this would be an Hour of Mercy during which "many
spiritual mercies can be granted", provided the soul is prepared with prayers and repentance.
During Her appearance, the Mother Mary said:
“On December the 8th of each year at noon, I would like you to spend the
"Hour of Mercy" in prayer. Many spiritual graces and physical blessings will be given to
those who pray for an hour. ”
According to eyewitnesses of those events, many sick people were healed
and many miracles occurred in fulfillment of the promise of Mother Mary.
On December 8th, 2007 Mother Mary performed another miracle, this time in Russia through the Messenger of the Great White
Brotherhood, Tatyana Mickushina, giving Her Message:
"I have come today to remind you that I am
always with you like a loving and caring Mother.” It meant that
Mother Mary has continued the dispensation of the Hour of Mercy.

Apparitions of Mother Mary
Perhaps the greatest number of manifestations from the Divine world on Earth is associated with the
miracles of Mother Mary. Her appearances are widely known to Seraphim of Sarov and Sergius of Radonezh, the blessed Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky,
the founder of the Dominican Order, preacher Dominic, a Catholic saint
Bernadette in the Louvre and many others.
The Most Holy Theotokos has shown Her face
all over the world – in Italy and Spain, in Portugal and Egypt, in Russia and
France, in Afghanistan and Georgia, in Mexico and Japan… And not only in
ancient times. The previous and present century both abound with such evidence.
Let's get acquainted with some of them.
1916-1917, Fatima village, Portugal [1]
Three little Portuguese shepherds - Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta -
became famous all over the world after several appearances of a certain
"Lady surrounded by an unusual radiance", which was Mother Mary. The
children said that the Lady was sending them messages of repentance and
prayers. The Virgin Mary also predicted the Second World War, which would be
worse than the one that was already going on in Europe, if people did not stop
insulting the Lord with their words and actions.
And soon thousands of pilgrims flocked to Fatima to meet the Virgin.
On the day appointed by Mother Mary, a crowd of thousands observed an
amazing phenomenon. After the rain, the sky suddenly lit up, and people saw a
shining silver disk above their heads, which began to "dance",
quickly moving across the sky. The Catholic Church had
investigated this phenomenon for almost 13 years and finally recognized it as
true.
Some of the prophecies of the Virgin Mary, told by Her to Lucia, who
later became a Carmelite nun, concerned Russia which "must be turned to
God" for the sake of peace. To achieve this, the Pope, together with
other bishops, would have to dedicate
Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary. But the Vatican was in no hurry
to hold such a cathedral dedication.
In 1981, there was an assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II. The
head of the Catholic Church was saved from death by the fact that he turned to
the girl holding the image Fatima Our Lady. This salvation of the Pope
constituted the miracle that convinced him to fulfill the main meaning of the
appearance of the Mother of God in Fatima - the conversion of Russia. And
finally, in 1984, this most important event took place.
1961-1965, village of San Sebastian de Garabandal,
Spain
As in Fatima, children witnessed the appearance of the Virgin
Mary in Garabandal. Four schoolgirls – Conchita,
Maria Cruz, Jacinta and Marie Loli - admitted that
they had seen Archangel Michael more than once, and then the Virgin Herself. In
the summer of 1965, the angel conveyed through the girls that other locals
could also meet Mother Mary. On this occasion, residents of the surrounding
villages gathered at the place and time indicated by Him. And the Most Pure Virgin appeared in a white
dress, a blue mantle and a crown of stars.
However, only the girls saw the Virgin but everyone noticed how the four schoolgirls had been transformed at that moment.
They claimed that Archangel Michael gave them Holy Communion, and the
corresponding movements of the children's lips and tongues were clearly visible to others. There are almost 80
frames of documentary footage in which Conchita suddenly showed the Holy Gifts
on her tongue. At that time, the Virgin fulfilled the girl's request to make
them visible to people. The entrepreneur who filmed this miracle from Barcelona
gave a copy of the film to the local bishop. The Catholic Church, however, has
not yet recognized that The Garabandal phenomenon took place, although it did
allow priests and everyone else to organize a pilgrimage to this place.
Believers did not even wait for an official resolution – numerous
miraculous testimonies of healings and various graces were enough for them.
They were received by those whose crosses and other objects were consecrated by
the kiss of the Virgin during Her last appearance in Garabandal
on November 13, 1965.
1968-1971, Zeitoun - a suburb of Cairo, Egypt
One of the most famous apparitions of the Virgin Mary took place in a
Muslim country for three years in a row. However, these places have been
considered holy by Christians since ancient times. According to legend in the
suburbs of the Egyptian capital, Zeitoun, Mary,
Joseph and the baby Jesus, fleeing from the cruel king Herod, rested under a
fig tree after a long journey. In honor of this event, the Coptic Orthodox
Church founded the Church of the Blessed Virgin in the first half of the XX
century. It was above its dome that a glowing image began to appear at night
from April 1968. Millions of people – Orthodox, Catholics, Jews, and Muslims -
witnessed the miracle.
Patriarch Kirill VI of Alexandria for a long time doubted the truth of
the events discussed among the people. But
according to the faithful believers, the Mother of God Herself was able to
convince him by appearing to the priest in person. As a result, the
Patriarchate of the Coptic Orthodox Church, the Coptic Catholic Patriarch
Stephen I, and even the Egyptian government, came out with the recognition of
the Zeitoun miracles.
Many pilgrims received healing here, for example, from physical
injuries, blindness and even cancer, which happenings were officially recorded
by doctors. And it is not surprising that thousands of Muslims converted to
Christianity at that time.
An interesting case is the one with a photojournalist of the largest
Egyptian newspaper Vagikh Rizk,
who unexpectedly took a picture of the Most Pure Virgin with the help of his
left hand, which had been immobilized for more than a year after an accident.
Dozens of his high-quality pictures of the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus in
Her arms, in front of the cross and with an angel present, passed a thorough
examination, which resulted in them being recognized as authentic.
Note that Mother Mary manifested Herself in
Egypt. In 1986, Her image was seen in the town of
Terra Gulakia in the north of Cairo, in 2000 - during
the celebration of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Assiut,
and in 2002 - in Omrania (Giza district). Here,
thousands of ordinary citizens and dozens of policemen maintaining public order witnessed another miracle.
1973, Akita city, Japan
The Virgin Mary appeared in Japan in the small
town of Akita - she was seen by a deaf nun Agnes Katsuko
Sasagawa.
In June 1973, Agnes saw the Virgin Mary during prayer. The glowing
mysterious rays came out of the Monstrance. Agnes saw these rays for several
days, and then a stigma in the form of a cross formed on her left palm. The
pain was unbearable, but the nun stood firm, answering the sisters who consoled
her that the wound on the hand of the Blessed Virgin Mary was much deeper. The
astonished sisters entered the chapel and found the same wound on the statue of
the Virgin Mary...
But the miracles in Akita did not end there. Soon Agnes, praying to the
image of the Virgin Mary, heard the first message. The Virgin Mary told the nun
that she would soon be healed, and called on all the sisters to pray for people
to atone for their sins and stop the wrath of the Heavenly Father.
The Blessed Virgin appeared to Agnes several more times, calling her for
patience and perseverance. She predicted to the nun not only her future
destiny, with persecution and ridicule, but also the destiny of the Japanese
people, in particular, the deadly tsunami that occurred in March 2011.
Ten years after the apparition of the Virgin Mary, Agnes could hear
again.
After humiliating inspections of the sisters who witnessed the
miraculous phenomenon, the Roman Catholic Church still recognized this fact as
authentic, although before the investigation began, more than 500 people,
including both Christians and Buddhists, saw how the statue of the Virgin Mary
in the Akita monastery exuded blood and tears.
1981-2013, Medjugorje village, Bosnia
and Herzegovina
This is another apparition of the
Blessed Virgin that has not yet been recognized by the church. The Virgin Mary
began to appear to six children from 10 to 16 years of age; through them, she
promised to pass on 10 secrets to the world.
The teenagers had to go through a lot of trials - they were regularly
taken to the police, they were subjected to the most thorough scientific and
medical examinations. The doctors did not find a reason to doubt the mental
health of the children, but the authorities of socialist Yugoslavia did
everything to dispel the cult of Mother Mary, which was formed among the local
residents. However, people could not but believe in the miracles that occurred
before their eyes: the sun changed in size, the word “peace” appeared in the
sky, a pillar of fire burst out of the ground, and pilgrims were cured of
diseases. Hundreds of Bosnians left the Communist Party and became believers
during that period.
In response to repressive measures, in particular, the restriction to
appear in these places, people began to see the Blessed Virgin in other places,
for example, in the house of the parish priest, in the storage of church
utensils, in the choirs of the local church.
An interesting fact is that this church
withstood the bombing during the war in Yugoslavia, while the surrounding area
was severely damaged by air raids. Until now, up to a million pilgrims a year
flock to Medjugorje from all over Europe in the hope
of meeting the Virgin Mary. And She still periodically
communicates with adults Ivanka, Mirjana, and their
childhood friends.
In the Messages of Mother Mary, which were transmitted by Her through the children in Medjugorje,
there were very remarkable thoughts:
“Peace, peace,
peace – and only peace! There must be peace between God and man and between
men!” “I have come here as Queen of Peace to tell the world that
peace is necessary for the salvation of the world.”(16.06.83)
“I have come to tell the world that God is
truth; He exists. True happiness and the fullness of life are in
Him.” (16.06.83) “… The world is in need of healing of faith in God the
Creator.”(25.03.97)
“The only thing that I would want to tell
you is the conversion of the whole world. I am telling you
this so that you will repeat it to everyone. I only ask for conversion...
Everything will come with conversion.” (26.04.83)
“You became divided yourselves on earth.
Muslims and Orthodox, on the same grounds as Catholics, are equal before My Son
and before Me. “You are all My children. Of course,
all religions are not equal, but all people are equal before God. It is not
enough just to belong to the Catholic Church to be saved; you must follow the
Commandments of God and your conscience. “Salvation is granted to everyone
without exception. Only those are condemned who consciously reject God."

1995, Budennovsk, Russia
In 1995
a small town in the Stavropol Territory became famous all over the world when Shamil Basayev's gang had
taken several people hostage in a local
hospital. Among them were children, the elderly, pregnant women - more than one
and a half thousand people in total. But as clever as the bandits' plan was, it
was also hopeless. It was not for nothing that Budennovsk
had
been named Holy Cross before the revolution, and that the hospital itself was located on the site of an old monastery. And in
those terrible days Mother Mary came to the rescue of the hostages. Her image
was seen by many in the city, including the terrorists. Mother
Mary, all in black and in a mournful pose, stood next to a cross-shaped cloud. Some noticed strange celestial phenomena, both the night before and on the day when the invaders left the city.
It is believed that for Basayev, these episodes were
a call to free the hostages and leave Budennovsk, since most of the
bandits were demotivated by the appearance
of the Image of the Most Pure Virgin.
Metropolitan Gedeon of Stavropol, who had
been praying all these days, immediately instructed the local priest to have those who claimed they have seen the Virgin, make
a statement about that. Convinced of the
sincerity of their stories, the Metropolitan ordered to paint the Holy Cross
Icon of Mother Mary by the fortieth day
of commemoration of the 129 victims of the
tragedy. It is kept in the local church of Our Lady of Kazan and reminds of the
miracle that helped save many residents of Budennovsk.
Necessary Conditions for Participation in "The Hour of Mercy”
1. The day and time of
The Hour of Mercy – the 8th of December, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (local
time.) One hour of union with God.
2. Before The Hour of Mercy, it is necessary
to take care of the conditions on the physical plane. Prepare approximately 15
- 30 minutes before the beginning of the dispensation so that nothing will
distract you during this Hour: arrange with your family, turn off all phones,
TVs, and radios.
Do not watch the
news on the internet, do not check e-mail, do not talk on Skype and do not
visit your social networks.
3. In addition to the appropriate conditions on the physical plane, you
must be prepared inwardly. Recommendations for inner preparation are given by
Tatyana Mickushina:
“During the Hour of
Mercy, you must be in a very harmonious state, filled with Love and inner
peace. Thus, dedicate 15-20 minutes before the Hour of Mercy to
consonance with God within you. You can read your favorite prayers, look at
Mother Mary’s Image with quite harmonious music playing, or you can read or listen
to an audio recording of Her Message.
Stay in silence with your eyes closed for a few minutes and focus on
your heart before the start of the Hour of Mercy. Imagine that you are
breathing with your heart. Breathe slowly and deeply.”

4. In the Dictation of 2007, Mother Mary does not ask to read the 50th
Psalm of David three times before the beginning of the Hour of Mercy. However,
those who wish to strictly follow the originally given dispensation, can read
it.

Have mercy upon me,
O God, after Thy great goodness
According to the
multitude of Thy mercies do away mine offences.
Wash me throughly from my wickedness: and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my
faults: and my sin is ever before me.
Against Thee only

that Thou mightest be justified in Thy saying,
and clear when Thou art

The sacrifice of God
is a troubled spirit: a broken and contrite heart, O God,

pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness,
with the burnt-offerings
and oblations:
then shall they offer
young bullocks upon Thine altar.
5. Then you can spend that hour in silent communication with God,
meditating on the tests Jesus went through, praising God and reading your
favorite prayers, decrees, or Rosaries. You can also sing songs, hymns (for
example, songs to Jesus, Mother Mary[2].)
“You can listen to
or sing songs dedicated to me, you can read Rosaries and prayers dedicated to
me.”- Mother Mary tells in Her Message.
You can plan ahead of time what you are going to do during your Hour of
