In January of his year Tatyana Mickushina, while answering the questions of the Sirius Centers, gave some recommendations for the distribution of the books on the Teaching of the Masters of Wisdom. Tatyana outlined the questions that each of us needs to know about, in order to be able to answer them when we are distributing the books of the Teaching. Students of the University of Life Ethics living in the cities of Moscow and Omsk (Russia) have prepared answers to some of these questions. Today we present the story of the Great White Brotherhood.

About the Great White Brotherhood

We all live in the physical world and it seems to us that nothing else exists except this world. In fact, there are more subtle worlds that we do not usually perceive. For example, the subtle world closest to us is the astral world, where we find ourselves during sleep. There are also other Higher Worlds inhabited by their "inhabitants". In one of these Higher Worlds, there are Higher Beings who have already graduated from the school of earthly life, and no longer need to incarnate on Earth. They continue Their development on the higher planes of Life. There are quite some examples on the existence of Life on other subtle planes of existence.

The Ascension and earlier Resurrection of Jesus, both well known to all mankind, is an indisputable example of the fact that Life not only exists on the physical plane, but also in other worlds invisible to us.

Or, for example, what the Bulgarian prophetess Vanga said about the Russian Saint Sergius of Radonezh:

"The one who was Saint Sergius is now the Greatest Saint. He is one of the Ascended Masters helping humanity. Oh, how is He helping humanity now! He turned into light, His body is made out of light."

The Highest Spirits who have taken care of the evolution of mankind, have always incarnated on Earth in great physical Forms: Gautama Buddha, Jesus, Lao Tzu, Confucius, Sergius of Radonezh, Seraphim of Sarov, and many, many others. The Higher Beings consider it Their duty to help humanity of Earth in the development of its consciousness. The Masters of Shambhala have been known in the East since ancient times, and in various teachings are called differently: the Teachers of Humanity, the Ascended Masters, the Masters of Wisdom, the Great White Brotherhood.

The Great White Brotherhood is a Spiritual Order of the highest Spiritual Cosmic Beings in Тheir ascended state, who work with the evolutions of planet Earth. This Spiritual Hierarchy includes the Elohim, the Cosmic Beings, the Angelic Hosts, and the Ascended Masters who have completed Their earthly school and have taken on the Ministry of helping the evolutions of our planet.

The word "white" refers to the aura (halo) of white light surrounding these immortal beings. The American "sleeping prophet", clairvoyant Edgar Cayce noted that " white is the most perfect color, and we all strive for it. If our souls were absolutely harmonious, then all the color waves would merge, and we would have a pure white aura.”

The Bible and the Koran about the" white robes " of the Saints

In the Bible, in John's "Revelation", there are many examples of Saints in a "white robe". Thus, "to those who were slain for the Word of God" – " ... white garments were given to each of them…»

About the people "who have not defiled their garments," the Lord says that they "will walk with Me in white robes, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will be clothed in white robes..." Before the Throne of the Lord, stands a multitude of people in white robes-clothed "in fine linen, pure and bright."

The Qur'an also speaks of the "white robes" necessary for a righteous Life.

"Put on white clothing-indeed, it is one of your best clothes..."(at-Tirmizi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah).

Al-Shawqani said: As for the pleasantness of white clothing, it is obvious (visible), as for the fact that it is the cleanest, it is because the slightest dirt on white is visible, and it is immediately washed…"

"Purify me from my sins, as you have cleansed the white clothes from the dirt" (Imam al-Bukhari, Muslim).

References to the Great White Brotherhood in the 19th and 20th centuries

Helen P. Blavatsky, the founder of the Theosophical Society, attributed her Teachings to the Great White Brotherhood, a group of adepts. In the book “Isis Unmasked", she called the authors of these Teachings, the Masters of the Secret Brotherhood or Mahatmas. Helen P. Blavatsky said that she communicated with these adepts in Tibet and continued to receive Teachings from them thanks to her abilities as a spiritual medium.

Nikolai K. and Elena I. Roerich from 1924 to 1938 published a series of books called "Agni Yoga.” The books described the work of the Brotherhood and the Spiritual Hierarchy.

Charles Leadbeater, a member of the Theosophical Society in London, often used the term Great White Brotherhood in his writings. He spoke and wrote about the Great White Brotherhood as an Enlightened Community of Adepts on Earth and in Heaven, created for the good purpose of advancing the spiritual development of the human race.

In the works of Guy Ballard, the founder of the “I AM Movement", the Great White Brotherhood is described as a Brotherhood of Immortal Saints and Sages who have been initiated into the Transfiguration, Resurrection, and Ascension.

From this brief overview, it is clear that the Great White Brotherhood is not some secret and unknown organization. There are references to It in the works of the most famous people. And the essence of Its name and the purpose of Its activities are worthy of the fact that so many people know about the Great White Brotherhood.
