I AM Sanat Kumara, who has come to you again through my Messenger. I have come on this day, and I am glad to announce that the benevolence of the Karmic Board has allowed me to give you today’s Message. You know that the Karmic Board is holding a session at this time. You also know that such sessions are held twice a year: during the summer and the winter solstice. You are probably somewhat interested to learn the latest news from this session, are you not?

Well, I have come to report them to you. Today, we have made a decision that transmission of Messages through our Messenger will continue. We had to see how ready you were to fulfill our plans in the physical plane after the end of the last winter cycle of Messages.^[1] We carefully observed everything that was taking place. Unfortunately, your attitude toward our plans and goals sometimes looks dispiriting. We are ready to collaborate with you, and we give you tasks and recommendations. However, again and again we face your sluggishness and sometimes even direct sabotage of our plans. We carefully select an incarnated person and prepare him or her for a certain mission over the course of many years. Some of you come into incarnation with prepared missions. You take on these missions yourselves. You yourselves strive to incarnate. Some time passes before you find our Teaching in the physical plane and come very close to the fulfillment of the goal for which you have incarnated. At times, you need to make only minor efforts and the task will be fulfilled.

In accordance with the Law, at the same time as you start your work for the Brotherhood, a temptation comes to you from the outside world. You get an alternative version for the course of events. You get an opportunity to make a choice. You need to understand that this happens automatically. That is how the Law works. You are given an opportunity to choose for yourselves: Either you demonstrate determination; devotion; perseverance; and stay on the path, showing miracles of dedication; unselfishness; and Service, or you follow the temptation that your world is offering to you, and then you choose a longer, more winding path that in many cases leads to nowhere.

Therefore, every time we come, we try to warn you about the imminent danger. It seems natural to your mind to be doing what the majority of people are doing. You are young, full of strength and energy, so why not live for yourselves a little bit and enjoy life?

As soon as such a question quietly enters your head, you immediately begin to lower the level of vibrations that you have achieved. You get on a slippery path that leads into a ravine of suffering and misery. You need to understand that you yourselves create the circumstances for this and future lives.

As soon as an opportunity to serve the Brotherhood opens up for you, a temptation leading you away from the Path appears simultaneously. When you give in to the whispers of your carnal mind you lose the level of vibrations. And when your Higher Self, your master in the physical plane — and even we ourselves — comes to tell you about your delusion, you do not hear us. You do not want to hear.

When you reach a crossroad, your master on the physical plane always sees the situation and tells you about it. Then you choose again whether to follow your master or the whispers of your carnal mind.

We give you crutches and look after you like clingy nannies, but you break away from the caring hands and head out to seek adventures, pleasures, and everything that you wish to obtain from the physical world.

You need to understand that what is good for the majority of mankind — for example, gaining life experience and playing the game of illusion — is a serious violation of the Law for those who have come close to us and to our Messenger.

Imagine that you are a little child and you allow yourself to frolic. Your parents and everyone who is older than you look at you calmly and try to mentor you on your path. However, when you grow older and continue to frolic in the same way as little children do, you are not allowed to do that anymore. Imagine a child who took someone else’s toy that he liked and brought it home. Your parents or grandparents will certainly tell you that you should not take other children’s toys. They will take the toy away from you and give it back to the crying toddler who has lost his favorite toy.

However, when you have reached a mature age and are trying to embezzle somebody else’s belongings, society often punishes you in a very strict way. Therefore, do not find excuses in the fact that other people are enjoying the pleasures of life. You carry a completely different responsibility, including karmic responsibility. That is because you have reached a mature age of sons and daughters of God.

Now, when the construction of the Ashram for our Messenger is in its full swing, think about whether you have done everything to help us in our construction. How often in the hassles of your life do you remember that we are fulfilling a project in the land of Russia?

You can imagine that centuries pass while we strive toward our goals but cannot attain them. And now, when an opportunity to fulfill our plan has come, you find more important duties: You take a vacation to the sea with your girlfriend, you go backpacking to the mountains, or you spend money on a new car or some other expensive thing.

I am calling you to treat all your actions very carefully. From this moment, I am warning you that your karmic responsibility is doubling.

Our every step in the physical world costs too much for us to peacefully observe how you waste your time, your money, and your life in pursuit of trifles, gadgets, and pleasures.

I came to you today, and the purpose of my visit was to remind you again about the responsibilities that you had accepted before your incarnation. Recently, when reading the cycles of our Messages and in the first flush of enthusiasm, you took on responsibilities that you forgot as soon as you came across another toy in your world.
